Welcome!

Eileen is a warm, caring, and authentic counselor who enjoys spending time in nature and with family.

Currently, I have over 25 years of experience working with and providing support services to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families. I work in the field of Mental Health with individuals who struggle with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, and relationship issues. Currently, there are long waiting lists for access to mental health services and I would like to help fill this gap by offering Telehealth Virtual services (email, video, CHAT sessions, and phone counselling services) so that anyone can access the services they need, whether they live in urban, rural or remote locations.

My background experience and training is within mental health, special needs, developmental disabilities and it was a dream of mine to create a private practice that provides services to people struggling with their mental health, and helps to build skills that allow them to be able to work towards the meaningful life they want.

Making a Change

Eileen and her family initially relocated from Northern British Columbia to SK in 2011 to start a position as an Autism Spectrum Disorder Consultant and then moved into the Early Childhood Psychologist position and then on to a director’s position in the mental health with a non profit organization. Prior to that, she worked in her private practice within a rural area of BC, where she was held contracts with a number of private consulting companies in the areas of behaviour management, therapy, assessment, and mental health services.  During her time in BC, she also worked under the supervision of a neuropsychologist in the administration of assessment testing tools for those from birth to the elderly.

Current

Eileen has always been involved in therapy and counselling services as well as providing resources/supports for children, youth, adults and their families with special needs; she has been an educational trainer, a program developer, and a Behavioural Consultant.  Eileen works with adults and couples on the spectrum, as well as provides parent training for caregivers/parents struggling with raising a child with a special need.
